Selkirk is a small border town based in the beautiful county of Selkirkshire.  There is an enormous amount of local history and you are within travelling distance of several border towns.

 

The accommodation is a ground floor flat, formerly an old bakery in the 1800's, comprising of a main living room, bathroom with shower, two bedrooms, one with bunk beds and one double and a well equipped kitchen.  There is a small courtyard to the rear for a barbecue if it takes your fancy.

 

Selkirk town centre is a walk away with local bakeries and a deli, supermarket and various pubs and hotels for eating out.

 

There are local walks aplenty, and if it is a seasonal visit you are after, Selkirk hosts one of the most famous local fairs, 'Scotts Selkirk' is a festive treat for all who visit.
