Pathhead Farmhouse is a traditional, stone built hill farmhouse set in its own grounds on the edge of the estate. The views from Pathhead are breathtaking, over open farmland and hills. The house has been fully modernised in recent years and offers exceptional accommodation and a very peaceful and secluded location.

The Hoscote cottages provide holiday lets in the heart of the Scottish Borders. Gardeners Cottage and Pathhead Farmhouse are attractive houses which have been modernised to a high standard and offer first class, self-catering accommodation.

Although situated conveniently close to the English border the Hoscote Estate enjoys a truly Scottish setting. The cottages are well positioned to explore the many places of interest in the Border Country. The mill town of Hawick is close by for all your shopping needs. A large supermarket can be found in the centre of the town and for those interested in purchasing cashmere the choice is huge. Slightly further afield are the cities of Carlisle and Edinburgh for those more serious shoppers.

A large number of outdoor pursuits are available both on the estate and locally.

The cottages are nestled in the Hoscote Estate, an upland estate extending to 475 acres in the pretty, unspoilt valley of the Borthwick Water near Roberton in Roxburghshire. The cottages sit in quiet locations within the estate grounds amid gentle rolling hills and mature woodlands.

Both Gardeners Cottage and Pathhead Farmhouse can be hired individually, together or as part of Hoscote Estate which includes a 19th Century country house.

The estate grounds are made up of farm land, open moor and woodland. The Borthwick Water borders the estate to the south.
