Barnhill sits above the River Tweed, in grounds extending to approximately 0.72 acre, and enjoys fine outlooks including views of the Eildon Hills. The detached bungalow has a large grass area which is surrounded by herbaceous borders. There are attractive footpaths down to the Tweed from the secluded garden and Barnhill lies close to St Boswells Golf Course.
St Boswells village has a spacious tree-lined green. There is cricket to watch in the Summer and rugby in the Winter.
The friendly, family-run Buccleuch Arms offering restaurant/bar meals is within easy walking distance.
