We decided to make the most of the fantastic view available over the land to the coast and sea nearby, so the living areas are upstairs and the bedrooms on the ground floor.

Viewed through the six metre sliding panoramic windows that line one wall, visitors will enjoy watching the wildlife and birds in the fields or following the ships through the telescope, as they make their way up and down the firth of Forth !

This impressive first floor has a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area.

Natural wood floors are scattered with designer patterned rugs and useful coffee tables.

A log-burning stove, set in a large and attractive brick fire place, adds a cosy ambiance to the space in winter months. The kitchen area is fitted with a fridge/freezer, electric hob, oven and extractor fan and also houses a family size dishwasher and washing machine, plus plenty of fitted cupboards and drawers,

An electric toaster, coffee percolator, kettle and juice maker, plus pans, cutlery and china, are all provided.

Ensuring you have everything you need to turn the cottage into a real 'home from home' whether you stay for a long Holiday or just a Short-Break!

The area set aside for complete relaxation is furnished with the same comfortable sofas and cushions as are provided in all the cottages.

In addition, Cormorant Cottage has a pair of impressive wicker armchairs.

Well cushioned with high backs, they provide extra comfortable seating in front of the large windows.

A Television, video player, music centre and a choice selection of magazines and local papers are also provided.

The walls in all the rooms are hung with some pleasing modern prints and original paintings of local scenes.

Several very attractive, natural wood sculptures, by the local artist George Ross, are also displayed.

On the ground floor, three bedrooms and a master bathroom provide comfortable and peaceful sleeping areas for a good nights rest for everyone. All the bedrooms have a chest of drawers and twin beds.

The family bathroom is well appointed with a bath, shower, hand basin and W.C.

Warm duvets, in attractive patchwork patterned covers with matching pillowcases are cosy and inviting!
