It is close to local amenities and public transport and yet set in a secluded location with large car parking facilities and private garden. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen including dishwasher and hostess trolley. The spacious open plan living, dining area stretches in height to full 2 storeys of the building exposing the ancient original beamed ceiling. The 'Barn Door' bedroom is on the ground floor adjacent to the bathroom. Within this bedroom the sleeping arrangements are flexible with both beds at floor level and a double bed at mezzanine level. Upstairs there are 2 sleeping areas. The 'Bedouin tent' bedroom is accessed by a few steps over a beam and is encompassed by white linen drapes, providing sleeping accommodation in a comfortable king size bed. The second sleeping gallery is an extra sitting area / dressing room which converts to sleeping accommodation for 1/2 people. The Studio Cottage has its own garden and sitting area and natural spring water trough. This leads onto the owners 4 acre estate where the owners breed small flock of Jacob sheep. Sue Clay, a textile designer, uses the fleece in her felted wall hangings. She runs workshops in her studio which can be arranged when booking.
