The cosy lounge has an open fireplace with a free supply of logs or coal. French windows lead to a small enclosed garden at the rear with garden furniture, barbecue and accessories. The lounge has a DVD, TV and video complete with a tape for recording programmes. 
 
The bedrooms are reached by a fairly narrow staircase. Each has a traditional cottage feel and all have recently been re- decorated throughout.
  
The cottage is centrally-heated. There is a direct telephone line (outgoing call costs extra).
  
The main bathroom has separate toilet, washbasin and bath with electric shower over. The kitchen/diner is equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, plenty of cooking utensils and all crockery and cutlery needed. The dining area opens onto the sunny the courtyard.

The main entrance is from the courtyard parking and there is direct access onto a small garden from the lounge.

The four cottages at Westwood are for those who prefer a more traditional cottage stay. They are particularly suited to families and those who need to avoid the stairs of the main house. Our latest refurbishment - The Old Gallery - has been fitted out to M2 mobility access standards. They all enjoy direct access onto the gardens and grounds. Each is fully equipped and tastefully decorated in suitable cottage styles. We have combined antique pine and oak furniture with other period pieces in darker wood. The curtains, upholstery and linen have also been chosen with the Victorian cottage theme in mind.
