Fayvan is a well appointed Victorian residence, conveniently situated on the West Cliff, where Crescent Avenue joins Royal Crescent, giving side sea-views from all the apartments, which are very spacious . They are fitted and furnished to a high standard and refurbished regularly for the comfort of our guests. All our apartments are rated 4 Stars by the English Tourism Council.

We offer first class non-smoking accommodation with each apartment sleeping 4-5 persons and comprising of: Hallway, Lounge (with double wall-bed), fully fitted dining kitchen, family bedroom with en-suite bathroom, bath and shower.

All bed-linen, toiletries, quality towels, heating and laundry facilities (washer/dryer) are included in our charges, along with colour television, video, clock/radio alarm, hairdryer, shaver point, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, ironing facilities, cot & highchair, children's videos and books and games for your enjoyment.

The whole of the region is steeped in history. Take in the ambience of the resort with its fishing boats and steep narrow passageways. The journey to Whitby from the South takes you over the North Yorkshire Moors with some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK.

See the famous Abbey stairs where you can climb up to the St Mary's Church. Although only for the energetic once at the top there are spectacular views over the whole port. Well worth the effort!! For those who want to get away and hide then the North Yorkshire Moors with its criss cross of footpaths will blow away cobwebs and leave you refreshed.

The little port of Robin Hoods bay is close by where images of smugglers abound as its narrow alleyways tumble down to the North Sea. This is the home of the North Yorkshire Moors railway and of course the "Heartbeat" village of Goathland. There is so much to see and do you'll wonder how you will fit everything in.
