RESOLUTION BUNGALOW The Resolution bungalow has two bedrooms, one double bedroom and one twin Bedroom. The bathroom has a separate wheel-in shower and is suitable for visitors with mobility difficulties, National Mobility Level 1. The kitchen also has a dishwasher and a Fridge/freezer. Captain Cooks Haven is an exciting modern collection of holiday cottages, all furnished to a high standard. There is also a two bedroom Bungalow is available for the disabled to level 2. The cottages are in a beautiful setting, on two levels, nestling beside the banks of the River Esk as it winds its way from the rugged beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors towards the bustling seaside resort of Whitby, just a mile away. All the Cottages offer an ideal touring centre for exploring the nearby fishing villages, sandy bays and seaside resorts. You enjoy the use of a superb heated indoor swimming pool, alongside which is an exciting playground for children of all ages. There are Barbeque areas for relaxed outdoor cooking. Let the men take over the cooking ladies !The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway has a summer service passing on the opposite bank of the river. Nearby is the village of Goathland and the surrounding area where the TV series Heartbeat is filmed. You may even be lucky enough to watch some filming! The historic city of York, Castle Howard and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park are places to visit and are within easy reach. Enjoy a cycle ride or walk along the old railway track towards Robin Hood's Bay, 6 miles. Anglers can enjoy deep sea fishing from Whitby harbour, or river fishing for salmon and trout nearby. Each cottage is built in the traditional Style of a Fisherman Cottage and are fully equipped and very comfortable. A two bedroomed bungalow is also available that is suitable for disabled visitors.
