The property was completely renovated in 1999 with oil fired central heating and double glazing throughout. It has a spacious lounge with a large window overlooking open countryside, two bedrooms, dining room / kitchen and bathroom with a shower. There is ample parking spaces with a grassed area with chairs and table. The village has pleasant riverside and woodland walks. The North York Moors railway terminus is at Pickering four miles away. Just 30 minutes by car takes the visitor to the WWZ Experience museum at Eden Camp, Malton and Castle Howard, the setting for Brideshead. Historic York and the coast at Scarborough and Whitby are less than one hours drive, while the North York Moors can be reached in less than ten minutes!
