The Little Barn is a charming 17thC barn tastefully modernised to give top-class accommodation, and lies in the quiet moorland village of Lockton. With oak beams throughout, and a gallery twin bedroom which overlooks the lounge, there is also a dark oak futon which converts quickly into a double bed. The bathroom has a modern electric shower and the kitchen has both a microwave and mini electric oven, George Foreman Grill and two ring electric hob. All bed linen and towels are included with central heating and coal effect fire for cooler weather. The Little Barn looks out onto a lovely cottage garden at the top of which lies the stableyard where parking is available. Ideally situated for exploring the Moors and Coast, Heartbeat Country, Historic York and N.Y. Moors Railway. There is also a local shop and two local inns offering excellent meals. With 500 miles of paths and bridleways on the doorstep, plus stabling and grazing, it is the perfect venue for ramblers, cyclists and horse riders.
