The Old Stable is a self catering establishment located in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, in the Yorkshire Dales. The accommodation, which is for 2 adults together with up to 2 of your dogs, is formed from the old stable and hay loft attached to our home. Our home is a 19th century farmhouse set at the centre of the tiny hamlet of Newhouses in the Three Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales. The views from the windows which face West and South are stunning and dominated by Park Fell, Simon Fell, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent. You can also see Whernside from the bedroom. We are well situated for walking with the Pennine Way situated very close to the house and for touring the Lakes, the other Dales and the Morecambe Bay coast. The Settle-Carlisle railway passes through the village with a station at Horton. There is good food to be eaten at the Crown Hotel in the village and there are several other good eating places within a reasonable distance.
