Situated in the heart of Nidderdale, the property is well maintained. A discreet convertion of the stables, granary and outbuildings which adjoin an 18thC farmhouse. With 16 acres of grassland and an acre of Beech wood, Dukes Place is home to several species of rare hens, ducks and geese and a prize winning flock of Jacob sheep, hacking and riding lessons are also available throughout the year. The stables help to form an enclosed courtyard featuring a fountain at its centre. The owners pride themselves on the floral displays which surround the property. Closeby there is excellent parking, beech wood garden, barbeque & play area. The properties range from one bedroom, sleeping 2 up to three bedroom sleeping 6. Larger groups can be accommodated in adjacent properties. Our rating of up to 4 keys gives us a variety of properties to suit most needs. The area is steeped in heritage, with outstanding historical attractions such as Fountains Abbey and Ripley Castle less than five minutes drive away. Harrogate, Ripon and the picturesque market town of Knaresborough are within 7 miles. Dukes Place is an ideal venue for short breaks, as well as giving guests a wealth of activities for a longer stay.
