Cowlingholme Cottage is a delightfully converted self catering stone cottage located in Askrigg. It is situated behind the main street just on the edge of the village and provides views across the valley. At the side of the cottage is a private walled gravelled parking area with gated access to a flagged patio and large walled garden to the front of the cottage that faces south across the open fields of Wensleydale towards the steep distant fells of Addlebrough. A flagged pathway at the other side of the cottage also leads to the garden and accesses the main entrance which gives way to a comfortable lounge with beamed ceiling, multi fuel stove on a flagged hearth and french windows that lead to the patio and garden. Off the lounge is a beautiful fitted kitchen with adequate space for dining. A pine balustrade staircase, with under stair utility cupboard, rises from the lounge to access two bedrooms and a shower room with toilet, washbasin and shower. One of the bedrooms has a double bed, large fitted wardrobe and vanity unit and the other two single beds and a lofted ceiling with an opening rooflight.

2 colour televisions, 2 videos, 2 CD/radio/cassette players, automatic washer/dryer, microwave oven, shaver points, hairdryer, cot and high chair, garden furniture and barbecue, lockable bicycle store.

Various bicycles available at £6.00 per week (to be pre-booked with owners) - 3 adult bikes (2 mens - hybrid and mountain and 1 lady's - hybrid) and 2 children's mountain bikes (suit ages 12 and 14 or thereabouts!). Please contact the property owners at least 2 weeks in advance if you would like to hire these.

Off road parking to the side of the cottage. Shops, pubs, restaurant, bus route 250 yards.
