This charming, spacious cottage is located approx 3 miles from the market town of Pocklington, close to the Yorkshire Wolds 'England's best kept secret'. The historic city of York is approx 10 miles away. The coast and North Yorkshire Moors (Heartbeat Country) are an easy drive. Sunnyside Cottage (sleeps 2-6) is an immaculate 2-bedroomed cottage which retains a wealth of character, including beams and an open fire (range) in the sitting room.The cottage is beautifully presented with all the modern appliances making it an ideal place for long and short breaks. The village of Bielby has a Norman church and pub. The Pocklington Canal runs behind the village and is ideal for walkers that want over 10 miles of uninterrupted walks with wonderful wildlife. Cycling is also excellent with a choice of flat or hilly routes (for the more energetic!). Sunnyside Cottage boasts the following accommodation:upstairs - 2 bedrooms, main bedroom - large double (5ft bed(, 2nd bedroom - bunk beds. Downstairs - sitting room with sofa bed and chairs, open fire and beams. Dining room, kitchen with original belfast sink, wooden floor, electric oven/hob, microwave, washing machine. Bathroom shower over bath, basin, toilet, ceramic tile floor. Outside - small patio area, garden with garden furniture play area and barbecue, own off-street parking. All bedding, towels, heating (oil central heating), electricity are provided free of charge. Children are welcome (can use play area at their own risk).
