This pretty country cottage is warming, spacious and well furnished. It has its own private garden, orchard and a large patio area. The master bedroom has all the charm that you would expect from an 18th century ex-coaching inn with an original brass bed.The second appealing bedroom contains twin wrought iron beds and has a lovely view of the garden.Downstairs the large lounge has the original open log fire, which in the winter makes the room cosy and warm. The kitchen/diner is large and sunny looking out onto the garden and is fully equipped. Visitors are encouraged to come and look around the 18th century Cotswold Farm. We also offer horses to hire, baby-sitting and fresh produce from the farm for sell. There are many interesting and exciting walks through the AONB Valley of Slaughterford along the by-brook, following the McMillion Way, situated 2 miles from the Castle Combe and 8 miles from the National Trust Village of Lacock.Also ideally situated to get to the Roman city of Bath with its many attractions including the Roman’s Baths and The Costume Museum.
