There are wonderful walks right from the front door, with the famous Longleat House and Gardens and Stonhenge being nearby. Sherrington Stables is a property which has had its praises sung by a great number of visitors who have all enjoyed the fine countryside surroundings and excellent position it holds - making a fine base from which to explore the many local attractions.

Many  people find themselves travelling South for both Summer and Winter seasons in search of beauty and serenity offered by England's most popular tourist and visitors region. one such county is Wiltshire, whose tranquil and verdant surroundings provide the perfect place to relax an unwind.

The surroundings are tranquil and peaceful, offering some wonderful views. By day you can be out exploring the walking and cycling paths that crisscross the lovely Wiltshire countryside, which just happens to reside directly outside the door. Perhaps enjoy a day of visitor attractions - Stonehenge, Longleat House and gardens, Stourhead House and Gardens, Bath and the ancient market town of Shaftesbury are but a stones throw away.

A little further away but well worth the effort is Salisbury and its famous Cathedral. A short trip to Dorset will bring you to the famous Lulworth Cove and Chesil Beach.

By night you can relax on the patio with a glass of wine and watch romantically upon the clear starry sky as it illuminates the surrounding Wiltshire countryside. Good pubs and restaurants are nearby.
