Brook House Cottage is located in the centre of the picturesque ham stone village of South Petherton. The self-catering accommodation is an annex to the owner’s property, which is some 300 years old. The cottage sleeps 2 people in this self-contained annex. Parking is available off the road at the front of the property and visitors have a private entrance and pretty courtyard to enjoy. The cottage has a utility room with a washing machine. The ground floor consists of a kitchen, dining area and sitting room. A feature open staircase takes you to the first floor where you'll find a double bedroom and en-suite. The cottage has central heating and additional heating, if required, from a feature coal burner.Pets are welcome by agreement and smoking is restricted to the dining area.The village centre is two minutes walk from the cottage and enjoys a number of specialist shops, a restaurant, pubs, a café and a takeaway. The village dates back to the 12th century and has many interesting features such as the church with its octagonal tower dating back to the 16th century.
