Kingston Seymour is a picturesque village in North Somerset and currently holds the title of Best Kept Small Village in the county of North Somerset (an accolade it has won several times before) and also overall best kept small village in the Avonside area.

Set in this lovely rural location on a former working farm, our holiday cottage accommodation was completed to a high standard in August 2001. We have converted some original barns into 2 top quality cottages each providing accommodation for up to 5 people. The best news is ... rates include free fishing for residents. The tariff appears below, please ring us for availability.

The Six House (so named because you could milk six cows in it) and The Loose House (used for calving a cow) both have exactly the same layout comprising: Shared entrance porch to front door entering into hallway with a lockable cupboard for outdoor clothing, boots, etc leading to shared utility room with washer/dryer and fridge which can be used to store bait (if you are a fisherman). We would respectfully ask that no bait, outdoor fishing clothing or fishing gear is stored inside the cottages. A secure shed is also available for storage of fishing equipment. Downstairs: open plan lounge with TV/Video, comfortable seating for five people, coffee table, dining area with dining table and five chairs; kitchen with single oven/grill, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge (not for bait please), kettle, toaster, etc; bathroom with toilet, sink and bath with shower attachment. Upstairs: a cosy bedroom with one double and one single bed and galleried landing with a further two single beds. Outside: There is a shared courtyard area with picnic bench seating for each cottage. You are welcome to wander over the stile into the orchard in front of the cottages if you wish. Ample parking is available.

General: Unfortunately we do not accept pets either in the cottages or at the lakeside, however, we can provide contact details for a boarding kennel in the neighbouring village of Kenn.

For the benefit of all our customers and to reduce the risk of fire, our cottages are no-smoking zones - we appreciate your co-operation in this matter. You may smoke outside but please dispose of your cigarette ends carefully.

Gas-fired central heating, electricity, hot water and FREE FISHING are all included in the cost of your holiday.
