Partridge and Pheasant cottages were converted in 2002 from a derelict stable on a private estate. Each cottage has a private patio with wooden furniture with direct acces to a lawned garden shared with the other cottage, there is direct access to a half acre paddock and an additional five acre field all at the same location. This gated and only has acces for our tennants and guests,it is also speed controlled for the safety of children and pets. We have plenty of points of interest nearby including Longleat Safari Park and Adventure Park, Stourhead House and Gardens, Wooky Hole, Cheddar gorge, Wells and Glastonbury are also within half an hour drive. There are direct views over nearby Orchadleigh Park (and great golf course) and the picturesque village of Buckland Dinham. Also there are walks straight from the property on to open fields,streams and quaries.
The property was converted to a high standard with pressurised hot water systems, double glazing, and sperate shower/bath room and W.C. for comfort and convenience. Dogs are welcome by arrangement and are normally approved by our two spaniels, Pippin and Saxon on arrival! We are very informal whilst keeping a mind to the security of our guests for their peace of mind and to this end both cottages are provided with burglar alarms to this end.
