Springfield Cottages have been tastefully converted from the stables in the adjoining yard to the main house, which is a large country house set in 8 acres of beautiful Somerset countryside located on the south slopes of the Mendip Hills. Both cottages have a separate entrance and track from the road.

The setting is just right for nature lovers who may wish to appreciate the wide range of wildlife and country plants that grow in profusion in the area. This part of Somerset is ideal for bird lovers, walkers, cyclists, fishing, golf or those who wish to visit the many sites of historical and international interest.

For those who may wish to explore the area, Historic Wells (smallest city in England), Glastonbury and Bath are only a short drive away. The Mendip hills are close at hand. Longleat House, Stourhead and the famous Fleet Air arm museum at Yeovilton are all within half an hours drive.

Each season brings its own natural beauty and any time is perfect to visit this part of Somerset.

The quiet hamlet of Stoney Stratton is a mile away from the village of Evercreech with its 2 country pubs, post office stores, bakers, chemist and hairdressers.

The area is bleassed with many country pub restaurants and the visitor is really spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out.
