The Coach House at Boords Farm is located on the edge of the small Somerset village of Batcombe within the grounds of the 17C thatched farmhouse. The Coach House is available for rent on a self-catering basis for either short or long stays. For any booking the cottage will be ready for you; beds made, flowers arranged and a tray ready with a welcome drink. The Coach House at Boords Farm is in the grounds of the farmhouse and has been restored to offer very comfortable accommodation with pleasing decor incorporating elements both functional and decorative fashioned by local artisans and craftsmen.

The Coach House faces south and the gardens enjoy wonderful extensive views over Somerset countryside. There is excellent walking around the village using the network of footpaths (maps can be provided).

The South West Tourist Board inspect the cottage annually and has awarded it a four star rating.

Boords Farm has a swimming pool and tennis court which guests are welcome to use at convenient times. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult when using these facilities.

The Coach House can sleep 4 very comfortably with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom upstairs occupies the same floor area as the sitting room and has a super king-size bed which can be converted into two singles and has a bathroom with bath (large), basin and lavatory.

Additional sleeping accommodation can be arranged by using the couch in sitting room which converts into a single bed - ideal for extra child or visiting adult and/or the sofa in the sitting room will also pull out to a double bed.

The twin bedded bedroom downstairs has level access and has a bathroom with power shower, basin and lavatory.

All linen is provided and included in the rental fee.

We have attempted to keep the Coach House simple yet pretty, functional and reasonably sophisticated but not over decorated.

The sitting room occupies the main body of the building and is equipped with t.v.and stereo plus a wood burning stove with wood supplied. There is a night store heater downstairs, and electric radiators in every room with control panels - also a fan heater. Both of the bathrooms have heated towel-rails.

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped for self catering and includes a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven and microwave. A variety of utensils is available and tableware enough for eight settings ~ to include your guests.
