Sleepy Hollow Cottages, Tranquil, rural location in Barton St David, near Wells and Glastonbury, Somerset

Three newly re-furbished self catering cottages, with their own gardens and garden furniture set within two acres - mostly landscaped garden. Pets love 'Sleepy Hollow'! The enclosed paddock gives plenty of exercise opportunity. Inspected annually all cottages are Visit Britain 4 star rated. The cottages offer a relaxing break in this beautiful part of Somerset and both walking and cycling in the immediate area are excellent.  Close to Glastonbury, Wells and Bath there are many  other places of interest which are easily accessible, including the Bath and West show ground with its varied programme of events throughout the year, the Somerset and Dorset coastline, Exmoor, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Clark's shopping village  and many National Trust properties e.g. Stourhead with its fabulous gardens etc. All cottages have flat screen TV's with DVD players and wifi access. All kitchens have dishwasher, fridge/freezer and oven and hobs. A  laundry room is available for guests. Prices include all utilities, linen and towels. Table tennis is available in the stables and croquet on the main lawn in summer. The gardens themselves are a wildlife haven and the borders are richly planted, and the cottages overlook different aspects of the garden. The local bus service stops just 100 metres from Sleepy Hollow. Nap cottage sleeps 2+ is an annex adjoining the main house and has an attractive spiral stairs leading to the double bedroom and separate bathroom with bath and shower. The lounge has a woodburning stove to supplement the night storage heaters and has an additional sofa bed for two. The  separate kitchen is fully equipped.- see separate entry for internal photos Leep sleeps 4 is single storey and has one double room and a second room with bunk beds.  The bathroom has both bath and shower. The lounge has a well fitted kitchen area.- see separate entry for internal photos. Nooze  sleeps 2 adjoins Leep   and is also single storey. It has one double bedroom with en-suite shower and bath room. The lounge has a double sofa bed and a well equipped kitchen/dining area. - see separate entry for internal photos There is ample parking on the flat within the grounds. Bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday but there is flexibility over this. Short breaks are available frommid September to March by negotiation. Supermarkets at Street and Glastonbury ensure the most adventurous self caterer can find all they need.
