Situated on the beautiful and tranquil island of St Martin’s, North Farm is a traditional granite farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, and is one of the oldest dwellings on the island. Fully updated for modern comfort, the semi-detached cottage sleeps 4 with one double bedroom and one twin-bedded room, with a shower room on the first floor and a separate cloakroom toilet downstairs. The sitting/dining room has its original (low!) beamed ceiling, comfortable sofas and a well-stocked library, along with TV/DVD and CD player and electric panel heating. The original open fireplace, supplied with logs from the island, makes it a cosy choice for a spring or autumn break, as well as a perfect summer destination.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a ceramic hob cooker and microwave, and all electricity, hot water, heating, linen and towels (other than beach towels) are included within the cost. A washing machine and tumble drier are housed in a separate laundry room.
There are views of the Eastern Isles from the bedrooms, and the cottage has its own secluded south facing garden where you can sit and enjoy the sunny days and the dazzling starry night skies.
