Dating from 1850, 'The Vergus' is a very comfortable and well equipped cottage sleeping up to six people. It is situated in the centre of a small village with views of open countryside between Cheltenham (4 miles), Gloucester (5 miles) and Tewkesbury (6 miles). It makes an ideal centre for visiting these historic towns as well as touring the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and the Malverns.
The cottage is surrounded by lawns, flowerbeds and has garden furniture. There is a large grassed area for children to play. A traditional apple and plum orchard lies at the bottom of the garden. There is a driveway for parking up to three cars.
The cottage is carpeted throughout except the hall and kitchen which have quarry tiles. There is a large lounge with colour TV, video/dvd player. There is a fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. In the back lobby is an automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, sink and the original water pump. There is a downstairs toilet.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin bedded). All beds have duvets, two pillows per person and are made up ready for your arrival. The bathroom has a bath with shower, WC and basin.
