A lovely garden flat - modern and clean - in Southbourne, Bournemouth. The flat sleeps 4, with a large, bright double room and second bedroom with bunk beds. (A further mattress stored within the property can accommodate one further person, if needed.) The spacious living room includes a dining area, and patio doors that open out onto a raised decking area with wooden garden furniture, leading onwards to the garden. The private garden contains a (covered) pond with goldfish and a running water feature. The garden contains a further seating area and a large storage building for your bikes, sailboards, etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with new equipment, including new fridge and microwave. The property also holds a new washer/dryer. The bathroom includes a bath with hand-held shower. THe property is positioned in a lovely, quiet residential area, and very close to all amenities, such as major banks, Post Office, Boots and a large variety of shops and cafes. Southbourne is an excellent location for children - the beach is a pleasant walk through the Fisherman's Walk wooded area. The beach is monitored by lifeguards and operates the KidZone scheme which reunites lost children with their parents. There are two great playparks nearby (including a sandy cliff top park), and a skateboarding park for teenagers. Southbourne is only three miles from Bournemouth Town Centre, and the flat is easy walking distance to local pubs. There is an excellent beach-front restaurant and cliff top cafe. It is also a perfect base for visiting the New Forest or the Purbeck Coast. One quiet dog will be considered! Smoke alarm, fire blanket and annual gas safety certificate obtained.
