One of three self-contained holiday cottages alongside the pub overlooking the beer garden in Chickerell. Each cottage has three bedrooms (one double En-suite and two twin sharing the main bathroom) and sleep up to 6 people.

The cottages are fully fitted with their own washer / dryers, dishwashers, etc. Linen and towels are provided (clients are advised to bring their own beach towels) meals including breakfast can optionally be provided in the pub. All cottages are strictly non smoking.

Available all year round weekly during high season and also for weekend or midweek breaks during mid and low seasons. Off road parking is provided at the rear of the holiday cottages.

Bar
Ideally situated at the heart of Dorset's world Heritage Jurassic coastline, in Chickerell near Weymouth. The Lugger Inn is a traditional village pub with locals bar, restaurant, function room/skittle alley, beer garden, bed and breakfast and holiday cottages.

The bar houses five hand pumps serving local and guest real ales and cider, a full range of lagers, sprits and comprehensive wine list from around the world. The pub is themed in a traditional style, with many artifacts and pictures of local fishing scenes.

The pub is open from 8.00am with food served all day starting with breakfast, morning coffees, lunches, afternoon teas and bar meals served all day till 9.30 pm.

 
Restaurant
Our separate non smoking dining room is open from 12 noon till 2.30pm and again from 6.00pm till 9.30pm throughout the year, serving a variety of seasonal fresh fish, meats, poultry and game together with freshly prepared vegetables and salads. Bookings are advisable as the restaurant is often busy.

We have a sample menu for viewing but is by no means complete as our specials and fresh fish boards change daily.

Our function room is ideal for events such as wedding receptions, funerals, bands, discos and more!

The Lugger is located on West Street in the village of Chickerell, 3 miles west of Weymouth in Dorset. Chickerell is on the picturesque coast road between Weymouth and Bridport.
