2 delightful spacious Georgian cottages over 200 years old, a former inn (sleeps 4,7 or 11) with sea and country views. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Heritage Site. Charleston House has 3 bedrooms, ( 2 double, 1 bunk ) 30' lounge-diner, good size kitchen, 2 toilets, bath, garden, 2 patio, 2 spaces in our own car park. Sea and country views. Charleston Cottage has 2 bedrooms ( 1 double, 1 bunk ) lounge-diner, kitchen, bathroom, patio, garden, parking space in our own car park. Country views. Both cottages are well eqipped and have gas central heating and an open fire. The shops and local pubs are a 5 minute walk down the road. The beach is under 5 minutes from the shops and about 8 minutes from the cottages. Charmouth beach is ideal for children to play on, there are ducks to feed on the river, a cafe, shops, the Heritage Centre and fossils of course. Charmouth has shops, pubs serving food, fish & chip shop, hairdressers, chemist, doctor, dentist, gift shops, post office, market. Lyme Regis Golf Course is 2 miles away and Lyme Regis is 3 miles. Lyme has plenty of small gift and craft shops, restaurants, cinema, theatre and an annual jazz festival. Bridport is 7 miles and has larger shops and supermarkets, a market twice a week, leisure centre and swimming pool. Axminster is 5 miles and has railway station (to London ), Tesco, swimming pool, shops, market. Charleston Holiday Cottages are a wonderful base for a holiday at any time of year, whether you wish to spend it on the beach, walking the Coast Path, exploring Dorset, Devon and Somerset or just relaxing with a fine meal and a pint.
