The local pub, The Crown Inn, serves CAMRA real ales and good family pub food. The village is ideally placed for visiting the glorious sandy beaches at Woolacombe, Putsborough or Croyde. Exmoor National Park is within easy driving distance. The North Devon Coastal Footpath and the nearby Tarka Trail are ideal for walkers and cyclists.
