The lounge and dining area on the first floor enjoy spectacular views of the sea. There is also a double bed settee. There is a colour TV with DVD and video and a CD/tape/radio player.  A roomy kitchen offers ideal self catering facilities, with fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/dryer and a magnificent double gas cooker. There is also a  wc on this floor.

The next flight of stairs takes you to two bedrooms, both en suite with shower and wc. Both bedrooms have twin beds which can be configured as super king size doubles.

The first bedroom [Balcony Room] has its own balcony with commanding views of the sea and harbour. The second bedroom [Gold Room] also has lovely sea and harbour views.

On the fourth floor, with magnificent views of the sea , is the octagonal turret with its 4-poster bed [Turret Room]. It has four different aspect windows offering panoramic views of the sea, the harbour, Countisbury Hill and the village of Lynmouth . There is also a  pedestal handbasin, a bath with shower over [in restricted space], and a separate ensuite wc.

The area has a spectacular combination of sweeping moorland with steep, rugged, tree-clad cliffs and gorges and enticing sheltered sandy bays. Exmoor National Park covers 265 square miles, and remains as wild and beautiful as in the days of R D Blackmore’s Lorna Doone. On the moor the red deer and wild ponies roam free, and with a lattice work of bridal paths, it is a haven for ramblers and horse riders
