There is complete freedom to explore the farmland and our 35 acres of woodland bordered by the Crooked Oak river. West Cross Side Farm is also an ideal location if you are looking for Exmoor bed and breakfast or holiday cottages in North Devon. Michelin star pub/restaurant in the village. The holiday cottages are new, well furnished, conversions.There is fast access to the North Devon link road (A361) being only 25 mins from Junction 27 of the M5 with an easy drive to the North Devon beaches.The area offers tremendous opportunities for walking, touring, riding, golf, fishing, and wildlife observation. West Cross Side Farm is an excellent centre for short breaks for touring/walking Exmoor ,mid Devon and the Devon coast with easy access to Exeter, Rosemoor Gardens, Dartmoor and other attractions. Each cottage has a spacious open plan living area with wood burning stove and central heating, a fully equipped kitchen. The double bedrooms have king sized beds. A welcoming cup of tea will be waiting for you on arrival and the beds are made up with the stove lit in winter. Cow Castle Cottage This cottage is a newly converted stone built stable offering accommodation for up to 2 people with a sofa bed for visitors use. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an open plan lounge area with a wood burning stove that also runs the central heating. Upstairs, there is one large bedroom with a king size bed. The bathroom is conveniently accessed directly off this bedroom. There is timber decking to both sides from which there is an access onto your private garden with beautiful views south.
