Shepherd's Cottage is a lovely old farm worker's cottage that has 1 double, 1 twin, 1 room with adult size bunks and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is utility/shower room and open plan kitchen/sitting room with woodburner. There is a garden with wonderful rural views, patio table and BBQ, We are organic dairy farmers on the South Devon coast and have five holiday cottages which are all within a few minutes walk of the coastal path and some lovely beaches. The vast empty wilderness of Dartmoor is also within sight and is a paradise for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Our cottages have rural views and secluded gardens, central heating and log fires. Kitchens are well equipped with all mod cons and we supply fresh milk from our cows when you arrive! We even stock up the freezer with a supply of our award winning organic Well Hung Meat Company organic beef and lamb from the farm - just help yourself and leave the money in the honesty box. There are beautiful beaches nearby such as Mothecombe Beach which has acres of sand at low tide. Dartmoor and the beaches are just as spectacular in winter, when they provide exhilarating moorland rides or dramatic coastal walks.There are a number of good restaurants and traditional pubs nearby, particularly in the pretty village of Holbeton, or in Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo which nestle either side of the Yealm estuary just over a mile away.
