Set in an idyllic 6 acres of private gardens, orchards and meadows in the unspoilt Blackdown Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) with stunning views of the Culm valley and beyond, yet an easy walk from village with Castle, pub, shops and tennis courts. Upstairs lies a brass, king size bed with white linen sheets. The living room end has a comfortable sofa from where you can enjoy TV and DVD or just gaze out over the pastoral view through French windows. These open out onto a large southwest-facing balcony, entwined with sweetly scented roses, honeysuckle and clematis. Here is a table and chairs for al fresco dining, shaded by the leaves of a walnut tree. From here, steps lead down to the heated pool and the sheltered south-facing terrace. Watch white doves fly as you stroll through the beautiful private gardens and orchards or walk across the traditional pasture to the pond to see dragonflies, ducks and geese.
