9th Sep was £455, now £368. 23rd Sep £308. One of six cottages formed from our converted barns. January cottage is our largest 2 bedroomed cottage, and sleeps four plus a cot or Z bed. Upstairs there is a large double, and a large twin bedroom, whilst down stairs there is a large lounge, large kitchen and dinning area, along with the bathroom. All of our cottages are 4 star rated by the tourist board, and we provide linen and towels at no extra cost. The cottage is well equipped, with colour TV and DVD, cooker, microwave, washing machine, and toaster. Yetland Farm dates back to 1795, when the barns and house was built, and today is a very small working farm (we keep pedigree Llyn sheep). We lamb mid March through to Mid April, and you are welcome to help with the bottle feeding of orphaned lambs (too many lambs born from one ewe, and she can only feed two) which goes on to roughly late June). We are in a rural setting, just over a mile outside of the village of Combe Martin in North Devon. Although the farm and cottages are in a shallow dip, the view from our top field is stunning of both Exmoor, and across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. On site we have 2 games rooms - one has a pool table and sky TV, whilst the other has table tennis and table football. We also have a six man hot tub that is in a sperate building. Our playfield has a climbing frame, swings and goal posts, plus we have a small tennis court, plus an assortment of cricket / rounders bats and balls. North Devon is a very rural area, with outstanding natural resources. There are two types of beaches - the long (2 miles plus) sandy beaches that face west (approximately 9 miles away from us) and small bays (rocks and or sand) between the rocky outcrops of the North coast (the nearest to us is 2 miles). Exmoor is a must, its the smallest National Park, and much quieter than other National Parks), has the highest sea cliffs in England, and a water fall that drops further than Niagra. We appeal to families and couples, but are not best suited to those who wish to walk to and from the pub to eat and drink, as although we are only 1 mile outside the village (7 pubs that all do food), we are situated 720 feet above the village / sea level.
