This ground floor luxury apartment is in a small development set into the cliff above the beach with beautiful panoramic southerly views.There is a big, paved, partly covered terrace with patio furniture and superb south and westerly views from it and the living room. The apartment is modern and stylish with bamboo floors, down lighters and white walls. A shaker style kitchen is combined with comprehensive stainless steel equipment. The two bedrooms both have radios. One (double) has an en-suite tiled bathroom (suite plus bath and power shower) and the other (twin) has en-suite, tiled power shower room. Both have heated towel rails.The living room has a double sofa bed, three-piece suite, rocking chair and child’s rocking horse. There are videos, DVDs, CDs, books, maps and games for all ages as well as buckets and spades for the beach and a phone.Everything is included in the price, linen, towels, heating, electricity (for night storage and convector heaters) and membership of the leisure club from 10am until 7pm. There is reserved parking space for two cars and a flight of steps to the top floor (third) and lift for the ground floor from the car park.Bigbury-on-sea is a village, with a post office and shop, and has South Devon’s biggest sandy beach stretching to Burgh Island (pub, famous and entertaining Art Deco hotel) so you can walk at low tide or go by sea tractor at high tide. Good wind surfing, fine cliff walks, seabird watching, golf 1 mile away, and Kingsbridge 10 miles.The development is 30yds from the big and splendid sandy beach and has its own private leisure club. The leisure club has a fine indoor kidney-shaped swimming pool, spa pool, extensive well-equipped gym (treadmill, steps, cycles, Concept II Rower, heart monitors and other instruments) and sauna.
