Accommodation is a comfortable, self contained apartment situated in the rear of an old Victorian school house in central Wadebridge. We overlook the Jubilee Park playing fields and Bowling Green and are directly opposite the pedestrian bridge leading over the River Camel to the town centre & Camel Trail.

The apartment is very well equipped, comfortably furnished and well maintained. It is inspected annually by the English Tourism Council and has been awarded a Three Star Self Catering Quality Assurance Standard rating. The bedroom has two single beds - duvets and all bed linen are included. A cot and Z-bed are available upon request, free of charge. The private bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand wash basin - towels are provided, although you are kindly requested to bring your own beach towels.

The compact kitchen is well appointed with an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee percolator, together with a full range of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils etc. An iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials are also provided. The lounge is warm and bright and has a colour television, video recorder and DVD, together with a selection of books, games and a range of promotional leaflets from local attractions & facilities for your information. A radio/tape/cd player is also provided for your comfort.

There is a parking space at the rear of the house with a few steps leading down to the flat. Access is not at all difficult, but regretfully it is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with severe mobility restrictions. The apartment is centrally heated. A smoke alarm and fire extinguisher are provided for your safety and we have full public liability insurance. Smoking is not permitted in the flat and regretfully, pets can not be accommodated.

Wadebridge & Surrounding Area.
The historic town of Wadebridge makes an excellent base for touring, exploring and relaxing in North Cornwall. Sitting astride the River Camel, upstream from Padstow and Rock, Wadebridge is a thriving market town and has a good range of shops and interesting boutiques located on and around an attractive pedestrianised area.

There are many recreation & leisure facilities in and around the town including a modern sports centre with an indoor swimming pool, a comfortable 2-screen cinema, tennis courts, nearby golf courses, National Trust properties and a variety of excellent restaurants and friendly local pubs.

Within sight of the town centre are wonderful walks in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only 10 - 15 minutes away are large expanses of golden sandy beaches and dramatic coastline walks. The popular 26 mile "Camel Trail" is a pedestrian and cycle path, converted from an old railway line. It runs from Wadebridge to Padstow along the banks of the River Camel in one direction and through old woods and idyllic countryside to the foothills of Bodmin Moor in the other.
Wadebridge's central location and unique 320 ft bridge built in 1470 has always made it somewhere special and we are confident you will have an enjoyable stay in the area.

Prices range from £180 - £280 per week and are inclusive of all bedding, towels, heating, hot water and electricity. During the main season, bookings are on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday. Out of season shorter breaks and weekend stays may be available.The apartment is available for occupancy from 3pm on the day of arrival and we kindly request that you vacate no later than 10.30am on the morning of departure.
