Golf Farm House is a newly built detached house with outstanding views of the islands. It is situated approximately 1 mile from Hugh Town in its own extensive gardens and, as the name suggested, adjacent to the islands' nine hole golf course.Of the four bedrooms, three are en suite with the fourth room sharing the adjacent en suite facilities. The master bedroom situated on the first floor has a balcony with spectacular views from the Old town to the south, across the harbour as far as Bryher to the north. There is another double room on the first floor.There are two double/twin rooms on the ground floor sharing an en suite shower, wash basin and WC, which we envisage being shared by one family.The well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, microwave oven, electric hob and oven adjoins the large central dining room. Patio door open out on to the decked area which leads to the extensive sloping dining room. An additional more sheltered garden is situated at the rear of the house. The large living room is well equipped with colour television, radio and CD player and DVD. A modern "hole in the wall" gas fire can be used if needed to provide extra warmth to the underfloor heating which is installed throughout the property. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided. All linen is included, including beach towels. For those staying longer than a week we offer an optional cleaning service at no extra cost. We regret we cannot accept pets. Golf Farm House is a non-smoking establishment. Bookings are Thursday to Tuesday.
