200 year old Cobb Cottage is a traditional semi-detached cottage situated just yards from the village square of delightful St. Keverne with its 14th Century church. A small enclosed paved area in front of the cottage leads through a stable door into a cosy beamed sitting/dining room with pine furnishings and inglenook fireplace with wood burner. TV. DVD and video players plus a hi-fi system are provided. The fully fitted kitchen has an electricic oven cooker with four ring hob plus microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Stairs lead to the three double bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds, also an attractively decorated bathroom with shower over the bath, hand basin, WC; heated towel rail and airing cupboard. Immediately opposite the cottage is a walled patio area with garen furniture and washing line, ideal area for barbeques. Cars can be parked in front of the cottage or in the nearby village square which boasts a small supermarket, newsagents, post office, quality butcher, bistro and two pubs serving good food. Changeover day is Saturday. All bed linen and electricity are included in the price. Dogs are allowed (but not upstairs). Preferabley no smoking. St. Keverne is one of the busiest and most popular villages on the Lizard Peninsula. The ancient market town of Helston is approximately 10 miles away with main line stations in Penzance and Truro (London apoproximately 5 hours) The village is a short distance away from the coastal village locations of Porthoustock and Porthallow along with the popular harbour village of Coverack, the sea is only one mile away and there is a good choice of beaches and coves for bathing, boating, diving and fishing.
