Chy Vean is a detached bungalow with a spacious and sunny garden, and has fabulous views across countryside to Hayle Estury and the Towans of St Ives Bay.

The house sleeps 5/6, with one kingsize double room, one twin room, and one single room (high bed with extra junior pullout beneath). There is a south facing lounge, a modern fitted kitchen with adjoining dining room. The kitchen leads onto a large sunny patio, to enjoy al fresco lunches, with steps down into the mature and sheltered garden. A swing and sandpit are available for children.

Hot water and heating are included, as are towels and linen. Bedding is duvets, with extra blankets available.

Chy Vean is positioned on the edge of a quiet village, off the tourist track, yet less than 10 minutes drive to both the North and South coast beaches. Hayle town, with all the neccessary supermarkets and local shopping, bakery, butcher, grocer offering local produce, is 1.5 miles/ 5 min drive away. The popular and pretty fishing town of St Ives, is an artists haven with many small local galleries in addition to the Tate, and of course the wonderful golden sand, clear water beaches. It can be reached by car in 15 minutes, or by picturesque train ride from St Erth Station.

This home is ideally located for visitors to also explore the far west and south of Cornwall, from the Lizard penninsula to Lands end. Even the Scilly Isles are possible in a day trip! The Minack open-air theatre specatualrly positioned on the cliffs at Porthcurno is another famed attraction, as well as St Michaels Mount, one of many National trust houses and gardens in the area. And of course, there are numerous beautiful beaches to enjoy the sand and surfing! 

 There is a lively local pub, and a well stocked shop/post office in the centre of the village.
