Wisteria is a traditional Cornish cottage (sleeps6), which retains many of its original features, but at the same time has all modern amenities. Trehaven (sleeps 4), is a modern ground floor two-bedroom annex with large picture windows. The properties are set in an acre of wooded garden, with two streams, which has a unique, natural charm. It is a haven for birds and 24 different species have been spotted there. The RSPB reserve at Hayle estuary is quarter of a mile down the road. The well-known bird and animal sanctuary of Paradise Park is half a mile away. Penwith Pitch and Putt and Greenacres 9-hole golf course are a few yards down the road. The village of St Erth, with its award-winning pub, The Star, is a ten minute walk in the opposite direction.There are beautiful beaches at Carbis Bay and St Ives, and a magnificent stretch of golden sands at Hayle and Gwithian, backed by sand dunes. Surfing is very popular here. The beach at Marazion is very safe and has the added attraction of the historic St Michael’s Mount just off the shoreline.
