Stables for horses and a kennel for the dogs; all animals are welcome however there is a seasonal dog ban on most of the local beaches. A roomy yet comfortable lounge, wood burning stove tv & video and squashy sofas where you can sit with a glass of wine and meditate on the events of the day. 4 large and airy bedrooms upstairs, two with 4 poster beds 1 ensuite and 1 with twin beds. Also shower and wc along the landing. All the rooms overlook the gorgious countryside and our private lake where you can sit and watch the ducks, swans and geese. About the Killiow Self Catering Rental Homes in Cornwall Farm HouseA lovely 4 bedroom quaint Cornish farmhouse set in the heart of the countryside, yet only half a mile from Truro, a perfect location to explore the coasts and gardens of Cornwall. The farmhouse is set on a 280 acre organic farm with unending views of the beautiful Cornish countryside. All rooms are very spacious, and are furnished with comfort and tradition in mind. To the front of this beautiful farmhouse is a large lawn with rustic garden furniture. On the long summer evenings, the veranda is perfect for a barbeque. The large farmhouse kitchen with its original flagstone floor, oil ray-burn and a six ring gas hob and electric oven. The kitchen has a very welcoming feel with all expected amenities, dishwasher and family size table! The Laundry room adjoins the kitchen with an additional large power shower. A separate Dining room is provided for you to enjoy your nightly meals. Just make arrangements in the morning and we can build a menu to suit you. All food will be locally sourced and cooked with care. You can relax in the large comfortable Sitting room warmed by a cast iron wood-burner whilst enjoying views of the lake and sipping a glass of wine! Equipped with a Television, Video and DVD player. Large downstairs bathroom with WC, hand-basin and free-standing Victorian roll top bath. There is also a separate large bathroom upstairs comprising power shower, WC and hand-basin. We have four bedrooms upstairs, two with four poster beds, one with a king-size sledge bed which also has an en-suite bathroom and the other as a twin room. The rooms are spacious and light all with lovely fabrics and furnishings. Fly-fishing can be arranged on either of the well stocked trout lakes which are at the bottom of the garden. Dogs are welcome by speaking with us first, but please remember there are seasonal animal bans on most Cornish beaches!
