Hartswheal Barn is a carefully converted old stone farm granary, set in peaceful rolling countryside, well away from the road, surrounded by an abundance of farm animals and wildlife. Watch the family of swallows that can be seen through the glass-covered hatchway in the loft above the sitting room.

The accommodation has an English Tourist Council 4 Stars commendation, with three bedrooms, one double, one with twin beds and one with bunks (for children).. The shower room has low entry shower, washing basin and WC, heated towel rail and wall heater.

Outside, there is plenty of space for 2 cars, and a level lawned area with flowering shrubs, garden furniture and a barbecue area. The kitchen/diner seats six people and is well equipped with a convection/microwave oven, ceramic hob and refrigerator. The sitting area is comfortably furnished with a wood-burning stove set against the natural wall stone.

The patio doors lead out onto a sheltered sunny patio area, although designed and converted on one level with the less agile and disabled in mind. This property is well suited for a family holiday. Our guests are welcome to walk around the 52 acres working farm (areas of which are suitable for wheelchairs) and help the farmer feed some of the many tame farm animals.
