Kilhellan House is a 19th century home set in 5 acres of beautiful grounds providing an idyllic 'away from it all' location yet within easy reach of everything Cornwall has to offer.
In total up to 6 adults and 5 children can be accommodated in Kilhellan House making it ideal for families and/or groups of friends. Whether a holiday or extended stay I am sure you will have a memorable time at Kilhellan.
The house offers many traditional features including a large 'farmhouse' kitchen complete with four door Aga, a scrub-top table with seating for 10, walk in larder, together with fridge freezer and dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a cloakroom while to the rear of the house is a utility room with laundry facilities and large chest freezer.

A sitting room with feature fireplace provides a relaxing environment with a comfortable sofa and chairs, there are pleasant views overlooking the gardens. There is also a TV room on the ground floor, where those wishing to, can enjoy watching television or a video. This room also has a spare bed and sofa.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite comprising large bath, two sinks, toilet and bidet. A second bedroom has a smaller double bed and two single bunk beds (suitable for children) and a wash basin. The house can sleep 4 adults and 2 children.
The grounds are extensive and include an outdoor swimming pool open from 30th April until 7th September (heated from the Spring Bank Holiday to 31st August). Possible activities include badminton, cricket, croquet and with five acres picnics and camping are possible, it's up to you.
Nestling in a beautiful Cornish valley, Jollys Bottom, is Kilhellan, a small country house set in 5 acres of grounds. It is a child's paradise (having brought up 6 children myself). Here is room for a cricket match, camping, croquet, badminton, a field for camping if a guest is in the house, a river, a small pond, buzzards fly over the swimming pool which is outside and heated. The house consists of 4 bedrooms, 1 en suite and a lavatory off the farmhouse kitchen with an Aga. There is an elegant dining room, a video room, a comfy sitting room, an extra kitchen and bathroom. The garden is large but natural and one doesn't feel afraid to kick a football. North coast is the nearest beach, St Agnes is 6 minutes away and the south coast is 11 minutes away. There is the Eden project and various National Trust properties within 30 minutes. The owner is on site and helps with itineries, Aga lessons, and is always welcoming guests and children to the caravan. She will look up anything from ghost watching evenings to canoeing to biking; very friendly animals: donkeys, dogs and cats around to be played with. Was very highly recommended in the Cornish Tourism Awards 2002.
