Special Policies

 A £350 deposit is required to secure the booking and the full amount is payable 8 weeks prior to the booking. The deposit will be non refundable if the booking is cancelled and no-one else books the property for that period. Otherwise, the deposit will be returned within 14 days of departure from the property with any damage/breakables deducted. The hire of canoes is an extra £50 on top of the weekly rate. Canoes can only be hired when the weather is fine and the river is not high. A maximum of 3 people are allowed in one canoe at any time. For the hire of canoes an extra deposit of £1000 must be given (out of which the owner will retain money for any damage to or loss of the canoes and/or equipment). You will have to obtain your own insurance for unsupervised use of canoes (likely to be covered in most holiday insurance policies, please check) and agree to various safety precautions such as wearing life jackets and watching a safety video.
