Close to Faringdon (3 miles) in the Vale of the White Horse, Shellingford is on the ‘threshold of the Cotswolds’ and an ideal base for touring Oxford (17 miles), Bath (53 miles) and London (80 miles). There are many places of historic interest locally including the Uffington White Horse.
This is an excellent location for country pursuits. Walkers will enjoy the surrounding footpaths and close proximity to two national trails, the Thames path and the Ridgeway.The relatively quiet local roads are ideal for cycling. Fishing, golf and riding are also popular locally.
