Turpins Lodge Cottage has been fully modernised whilst the character of the cottage has been completely maintained with pine floors, galleries, timber ceilings and hand made hard wood doors and windows. At the same time underfloor central heating has been put in operated by an oil fired Rayburn. A fully integral kitchen with dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge, freezer, ironing board, water softener, microwave and grill are all completely concealed within wooden units. The bathroom is unashamedly 21stC luxury, with a spa corner bath complete with champagne bucket, and the shower has massage jets with adjustable water spray. Both bedrooms have vanity units and fully fitted wardrobes as well as TV and hairdryers. Sky TV is available, and an open fire to curl up and read or watch a film, this is if you do not feel in the mood to tour Stratford on Avon, Oxford, Cotswolds or go walking over the miles of footpaths and bridleways which you can join from outside your own door! For your everyday shopping there is a shop in the village, selling almost anything, open form 0800-2000. If you need anything during the night there is an all night Tesco in Banbury. In the town you will also find a cinema, railway station, bus station, bowling alley, swimming pool and sports centre as well as pubs, restaurants and shopping centre near to the canal and Banbury Museum. If you go into Banbury you will see the famous Banbury Cross and new statue of 'the fine lady upon her white horse'
