The Old Byre is one of three detached stone barns, sleeping from 2-8 people, grouped around a traditional courtyard.  If required the group can be let together to sleep 15 with Home Barn large enough to act as the central relaxing and eating area.

Located in idyllic Cotswold countryside, close to the Windrush valley and within the area of the old Wychwood Forest, yet within easy striking distance of Burford, Oxford, Blenheim, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water.  Nearby, on the banks of the Windrush, are the old ruins of Minster Lovell Hall and there are many other attractions and places of interest to be found locally.

The barns are comfortable and very fully equipped. All are centrally heated and include satellite  TV,  with DVD players in Home Barn and The Old Byre.  There are plenty of books for those who decide to have a lazy day and large scale Ordnance Survey maps of the area are provided.  Our guest's also have the use of the three acre field next to the Barns, which contains some fifty varieties of wild flowers and plants.

The Old Byre – Accommodation for three / five maximum. The first floor has two bedrooms (one double, one single) and a bathroom. There is also a convertible double sofa in the sitting room, with a ‘half bathroom’ adjacent, which provides for another two guests. The dining area has a table for four, but with an additional two chairs available for larger parties. The large fitted kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine.

Home Barn – Accommodation for six in three bedrooms (one en-suite), as two double, one twin, with a convertible sofa-bed for an additional two guests in the sitting room.  The ‘family’ bathroom has a separate shower unit. This barn has a lovely cathedral roofed and beamed sitting room with a feature fireplace and woodburner. There is a spacious ‘farmhouse’ kitchen with an extensive range of cupboards and a large table with seating for eight. The Kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The utility room has an additional sink, a washing machine and a toilet. There is a small very private courtyard behind the barn and it also has the private use of the main Courtyard which faces South and is a real suntrap.

Stable Barn – Accommodation for two on a full size convertible double sofa. There is a shower room and a galley kitchen, equipped with gas hob, microwave and fridge.
