This character barn has recently been converted to offer a very comfortable holiday home. It is situated at the end of a farm lane, close to the village of Benenden and is an ideal location for touring both Kent and East Sussex. Coopers Cottage is within the grounds of the owners 17thC barn but enjoying seclusion, with its own large patio. Inside the cottage, on the ground floor, is a lounge, with feature brick fireplace, a kitchen/diner and a shower room. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. From the lounge are French doors leading on to an attractive brick patio with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. There are many walks from the cottage, together with Hemstead Forest, which is a 5 minute drive away. The picturesque village of Benenden is only 0.5 mile from the cottage; it has two pubs, a general store, a post office and a butchers. There are many other pretty villages and character towns in the area, including Cranbrook and Tenterden with their good selection of pubs, restaurants, tearooms and leisure facilities. Close to the Kent and East Sussex borders this is an ideal location for visiting the many places of interest including Sissinghurst Gardens, Bodiam Castle, Bewl Water, Rye and the south coast. The station at Staplehurst provides access to London with a journey time of one hour.Ground Floor: The cottage has a character lounge with feature brick fireplace housing a gas log effect stove.
