There is ample parking and a private garden.The village of Frittenden is only a few minutes walk, which has a combined shop and post office for everyday needs (including delicious home made bread), a local pub, church and a recreation ground with play area. For indoor leisure and swimming facilities, both Cranbrook and Tenterden are only a short drive. There are local walks from the property, including an off road five mile walk to Sissinghurst gardens. There are many golf courses in the Weald of Kent area, including Charthill golf course, which is only a few minutes drive and has been voted the best new course in England.There are many quaint villages in the surrounding countryside with a wide selection of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. This is a wonderful position for touring and visiting the historic towns of Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone or Hastings, all being only a 30 minute drive away. For garden lovers Sissinghurst Castle and gardens is a short drive, together with Iden Croft Herb Farm, Great Dixter and Scotney Castle. The south coast provides a range of facilities from historic and character towns to family resorts.
