The property was built in around 1860 and still retains some Victorian charm within comfortable surroundings over 3 floors. The accommodation consists of a cosy lounge with open fire, TV with VCR/DVD player and radio/CD player. The well equipped kitchen/diner has a gas cooker/hob, fridge with freezer compartment and a microwave. The sleeping accommodation comprises of a spacious first floor bedroom, containing 2 single beds and a cosy yet spacious attic room, which contains a double bed and has countryside views. The bathroom is on the first floor and has a bath with a shower over. There is a further area on the first floor landing which is ideal for use as a further sitting room or for a travel cot. Outside, the property has off-road parking for 2 cars, garden, a large patio and large shed. The property is situated close to village shop and pubs.

About Hawkhurst

Located about 15 miles South East of Tunbridge Wells and is within easy reach of London, Maidstone, Ashford and Lewes. It is a 10 minute drive from the A21 which runs between Hastings and the M25. Hawkhurst is surrounded by many local attractions suitable for all tastes and budgets including National Trust properties, such as Bodiam Castle and steam railways, such as the Kent & East Sussex Railway. The location is ideal for cycling and walking with Bewl Water nearby. Other places of interest include Battle with its famous Abbey, Hastings Old Town and Castle and The Pantiles at Royal Tunbridge Wells. Ashford is convenient for a trip to the Designer Outlet Village or for a day trip to Paris on Eurostar. The sea is not far away either and Camber Sands is the ideal family beach with plenty of sand.
