Also close by is the Bedgebury Pinetum, with ornamental lake, forest nature trails and over 100 species of coniferous tree. A footpath running from Three Chimneys gives direct access to Bedgebury Forest, with several miles of footpaths, bridlepaths and cycle routes. Bewl Water reservoir has fly fishing and boat trips. Within thirty minutes drive Sissinghurst Gardens, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter, Scotney Castle, Ightam Moat, Batemans, and many more castles and gardens.
